Sales Manager

Location: San Francisco Bay Area or Remote CA

From customer education to online ordering and pay-by-the-mile billing, our solution needs to seamlessly integrate many disparate data sources to ensure a good consumer experience and accurate data-driven outcomes.

We are backed by well-known investors who have scouted and helped scale multiple unicorns in the direct-to-consumer and fintech industries.

Responsibilities:

  • ​​Recruit, hire, train and oversee a team of automotive/financial product salespeople
  • Set sales goals, track process and lead the team to achieve and exceed those quotas
  • Coach salespeople on best practices for closing more vehicles deals and provide advice and guidance to improve sales performance
  • Step in to answer customer questions and issues when required
  • Coordinate and lead all regular sales meetings
  • Develop and manage a CRM platform to retail customers
  • Maintain a strong focus on the satisfaction of all customers
  • Compile regular reports to management review

Qualifications:

  • Previous Automotive Dealership Sales and Management Experience
  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Marketing; or equivalent field experience
  • 10+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5+ managing consumer-facing sales teams
  • 5+ years retail finance sales experience
  • Ability to work remotely, managing multiple team members

Nice to have, but not required:

  • Consumer-facing fintech, renewable energy, and/or automotive experience
  • You drive or want to drive an EV
  • You have personally experienced or have family/friends who have dealt with super-commuting, gig economy driving, and/or high-cost auto loan on unreliable gas vehicles
